Does it work on scanned PDFs?

Yes - every page is read by a vision model, so a photographed or scanned page converts just like a native one. Anything the model can't read confidently is marked [word?] or [illegible] instead of being guessed.

Do tables and lists survive the conversion?

Tables come back as real Word tables and lists as real bulleted or numbered lists - not lines of text with tabs. If a table's structure was unclear, your document says so in a conversion-notes section at the end.

What happens to images in the PDF?

Each picture, chart, or logo is replaced with a short italic placeholder like [image: bar chart of quarterly revenue] at the spot where it appeared, so you know what to re-insert.

Are my documents private?

Processed on our own servers, never used to train any model, deleted 7 days after your job completes.
