Will the audio quality drop?

The audio track is re-encoded to the format you choose. MP3 and M4A are compressed formats, so pick WAV if you want an uncompressed copy of the track. The picture is dropped and only the audio you asked for is re-encoded.

What if my video has no sound?

If the file has no audio track, the job stops and tells you, so no empty audio file is produced. Fix the file or upload one that contains sound and try again.

Is there a file size limit?

Yes, up to 500 MB per video. That covers most recordings; for a longer video, trim it or lower the resolution before uploading.

Yes. Extraction runs on our own servers, your video is never sent to a third party, no AI model watches it, and both the video and the audio are auto-deleted 7 days after the job finishes.
