How it works
1Upload W-9 formsDrop in PDFs, photos, scans of W-9s, or a whole zip. Each page is read as one form (or pages can be merged per file for multi-page forms).
2Intelligent extractionA vision model reads every page and pulls the name, business name, tax classification, TIN, address, certification, and other fields; any unreadable values are flagged rather than guessed.
3Download structured dataOne workbook with a W-9s sheet, plus CSVs and a JSON export - every row keyed to its source file and page, with a confidence note per form.

Questions
All IRS W-9 versions - digital PDFs, scanned paper forms, phone photos. A vision model reads each page the way a person would, so any layout or revision works. Both 2018 and older revision formats are supported.
One Excel workbook with a W-9s sheet (a keyed row per form: name, business name, tax classification, exemption codes, address, city/state/ZIP, requester name, account numbers, taxpayer ID, TIN type, certification date, certification status, signature presence, and confidence note), plus w9-forms.csv and w9-forms.json for integrators.
The value is left null and a short flag is added to that form's confidence note - e.g. "TIN partially obscured" or "signature missing". Nothing is invented.
Each page is treated individually. If multiple pages belong to a single multi-page form, you can group them by file. A zip with multiple stand-alone W-9 images extracts one row per image.
Yes. W-9 forms contain sensitive TIN information. Files are read on our own servers, never sent to OpenAI or Google, never used for training, and auto-deleted 7 days after the job finishes.
