Questions
Auto-captions describe pixels (“a person at a desk”). Alt text describes purpose. Tell this tool the page and audience, and it writes what the image means there - with charts, diagrams, and screenshots getting a long description that carries the actual data and text.
Images that carry no information for a reader - spacers, borders, aesthetic flourishes - should get an empty alt attribute (alt="") so screen readers skip them. The tool flags these instead of inventing filler descriptions for them.
1 credit per image, minimum 10 credits per job. A 200-image product catalog is 200 credits. Loose images, zips, and PDFs of slides all count per image or page inside.
