Questions
All common B/L types — straight B/L, order B/L, sea waybill, house B/L, and master B/L. Digital PDFs, scanned paper forms, and photos all work. A vision model reads each page the way a person would, so any layout works.
One Excel workbook with a Shipments sheet (a keyed row per B/L: shipper, consignee, notify party, vessel, voyage, port of loading, port of discharge, place of delivery, cargo description, container numbers, seal numbers, gross weight, measurement, freight terms, B/L number, issue date), plus bills-of-lading.csv and bills-of-lading.json for integrators.
The value is left null and a short flag is added to that document's confidence note — e.g. "container number partially obscured" or "B/L number unreadable". Nothing is invented.
Each page is treated individually. If multiple pages belong to a single multi-page form, you can group them by file.
Yes. Files are read on our own servers, never sent to third-party AI clouds, never used for training, and auto-deleted 7 days after the job finishes.
